Medicare Plan Options
There’s some vital information to know about Medicare Plan Options if you’re approaching age 65. At the age of 65, you become eligible for Medicare. If you already get Social Security benefits, you may not haveto sign up. However, if you are not yet collecting Social Security, your benefits may not be automatic. Furthermore, because of the numerous components to this public health insurance, signing up early allows you to make the right selections.
Part A insurance, for example, covers hospital care, skilled nursing, and home health care. Part B covers preventative and medically necessary procedures. Part C includes some prescription drug coverage. There is also a Part D option.
Don't miss your opportunity
When it comes to government-sponsored healthcare at age 65, it’s critical to understand your options. One important consideration is the initial enrollment period. The sign-up period begins three months before the month in which you turn age 65 and ends three months after you turn 65. During this time, you can enroll in Medicare and choose additional coverage if needed.
You can contact our offices if you have any questions about supplemental options. Alternatively, you are welcome to reach out to us about the process. Set up a one-on-one meeting to learn more.
